To cultivate a meaningful connection between people, honey bees, and nature by providing authentic farm experiences, exceptional bee products, and a peaceful place to learn, relax, and reconnect with the natural world.
Our Story
Our story began in 2010 when we purchased land in southern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. While both working full-time jobs, we set out to create something special—a family farm rooted in the agricultural traditions we were both raised with. What started as a dream gradually grew into a farm filled with hay fields, livestock, and plenty of hard work.
A few years later, we decided to add honey bees to the mix. What began with just two hives quickly grew into nearly twenty, and now we sometimes lose count. Today, our bees call not only our farm home but also several family-owned properties throughout Holtwood.
We are fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful areas of Lancaster County, within walking distance of Kellys Run, Pinnacle Overlook, and the Lancaster County Conservancy lands. Every year, countless people travel through our community to enjoy nature, unwind, and reconnect with the outdoors. Inspired by that connection, we began offering our farm-raised, hand-bottled pure raw honey at a small roadside stand three years ago. The support from our customers has been more than we ever imagined, and we are truly grateful for every person who has stopped by.
As our little farm business has grown, so have our dreams. We are expanding our selection of honey and beeswax products and building a new space that will better serve our customers year-round. The new building will provide a welcoming place to shop, learn about honey bees, and experience more of what makes our farm special.
Most exciting of all, we have spent countless hours learning about apitherapy and the unique relationship between people and honey bees. Inspired by experiences that have become popular throughout Europe and beyond, we have decided to take a leap of faith and create what we believe will be Lancaster County's first Apiary Relaxation Experience Room.
For us, this venture is about more than honey. It is about sharing a place where people can slow down, enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, and experience the incredible world of honey bees in a whole new way. Whether you stop by for a jar of honey, browse our bee-inspired products, or spend time in our Apiary Relaxation Room, we hope you leave with a greater appreciation for these remarkable creatures and the important role they play in our lives.
